light tower questions

Hi ~ Will you please remind me how the 4" light tower should be placed in the scalar stand? I took it out to play with painting and now am not sure I put it back in correctly. And the arrow should be pointing north, correct? Also, what is the difference between the 4" Pro Plus and the previous 4" light tower. Thank you!
